STARTING THE CUSTOM PROCESS
Siobhan listens to each of her clients in order to capture their individual style and energy when customizing the glass work. An initial consultation is arranged, often in the client’s own home, where needs and preferences can be defined.
Following initial contact, an appointment is set up to discuss possible future directions.
Options and objectives are discussed. Space is visualized and the final piece is conceptualized. Client and Siobhan work in a collaborative process to develop a unique personalized work of art.
A scale drawing of the design is presented to the client for review and approval. Client selects preferred colours and textures of glass from a diverse collection of samples.
Siobhan integrates the concept, the design and the chosen glass to create the stained glass insert.
Siobhan delivers the completed and handcrafted work of art. The glass insert is installed in the desired location.
With the client’s approval, an appointment is set up to photograph the commissioned stained glass art in situ.
